Argentina 2018 Day 1

Welcome to our blog for the Senior Rugby tour to Argentina. Day one has come and gone after a mammoth journey from Edinburgh to Buenos Aires - quite bumpy and very uncomfortable although one member of the party managed 10 hours of uninterrupted sleep. On arrival in Buenos Aires we were met by Valeria our local rep and an hour later we were sorting out out bags in our hotel, just off the Avenida 9 Julio in downtown BA. After meeting JP we walked to a local park and had a very enjoyable training session. Afterwards we walked back to the hotel via a lovely riverside restaurant where the party enjoyed a three course Italian meal. A walk around the ‘Florida’ district followed by an all you can eat BBQ finished the day on a high and the boys were tucked up in bed by 9.30 ready for our transfer to Mendoza tomorrow.
